IP Description

This IP is a silicon-proven analog reference generator including a bandgap (BGR) and PTAT reference voltages, PTAT, constant, and CTAT current sources, and an Analog Test Bus in GlobalFoundries 22nm FDX process. A low drop-out (LDO) regulator is also included in the design to provide internal power supplies of sub-blocks. The PTAT voltage can be used as an analog on-chip temperature sensor, and the test bus can be used for DTF and debugging purposes. The BGR, PTAT, and current mirror blocks can be turned on/off using digital control bits in case it is needed. The low-power consumption of IPREFGF22 makes it perfect for battery powered devices and IoT applications.

The IP is compatible with all *_2Mx_4Cx_1Ix_* metal stack options. This means metal stacks #14, #16, and #17 readily compatible. For metal stacks #3, #8, #,11, #19, #21, and #22 minor layout modification should be done by the supplier. For other metal stacks, please contact the supplier.
